One week before flying

China Southern allows you to request special meals two ways:

• online here
• over the phone via a super fancy international call to China (011-86-400-869-5539)

I tried to do mine online first; however I could only request meals for my flights originating in Guangzhou. Knowing that meant I’d be super hangry on our 15 hour flight from LAX to China, I ended up calling the airline and was able to use my ticket number to reserve gluten free meals for all of my flights.
