7/17/09 Bushwhacking sucks. Today that’s all we did, and my arms and face are totally cut up. Although we only went about four miles, it was so tiring having to fight through 6 ft tall willows for hours. 7/16/09 Hello! Yesterday was a rest day, so I didn’t write anything because it wasn’t too exciting. We woke up late, made pancakes, and then came into the tent to escape the cold rain and persistent mosquitoes. In the tent we mainly read, slept, and played cards. 7/14/09 Well today was hard, but enjoyable. Even though we only hiked for 7 hours, we went 10 miles, crossed a river, and hiked over two passes. 7/13/09 Hello from my small group! Today was one of the hardest but most awesome days ever. Just to give an idea, it’s 9:45pm and we just set up camp.
